Thick Fudgy Brownies

I made such a mess with this one For some odd reason it didn’t mix very well (I’ve just had one of those days) So then trying to be creative melted white chocolate chips (not a good idea) It dries faster than the chocolate ones, so it got stiff super fast. I poured half the brownie batter in, tried pouring the melted white chocolate chips in for a layer and just made a mess! I think next time I’ll just toss those babies in there and mix the whole thing up. You know… the recipe said to begin with. 🙂

Behold, heaven in a pan 🙂

2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup HERSHEY’S Cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1` teaspoon salt
3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, melted
2-1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 eggs
1-3/4 cups (10-oz. pkg.) chocolate chips, or white chocolate chips. Both work!

Directions:1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan.

2. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. With spoon or wire whisk stir together melted butter, sugar and vanilla in large bowl. Add eggs, stir until well blended. Stir in flour mixture, blending well. Stir in chocolate pieces. Spread batter in prepared pan.

3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. About 36 brownies.
