We Will Never Forget

This time ten years ago, I had recently made my move , flying from NY to CA.  I remember where I was, what I was doing, even eating, when my now husband, called me to tell me to turn on the news channel. He had just left for work, barely got in the office when he called and headed right back home. No one worked that day.

Photographs, speeches, and video’s have imprinted and etched their ways into all of us all over the world.

I never really liked looking at the photographs of that day, or reading about it, it took me awhile to do so. I’m sure other’s feel the same, but when I do glance through them people’s memories live on.

Yahoo put together an amazing Tribute, if you haven’t looked through the Ten Year Anniversary Profiles, I encourage you to do so, it’s very moving.

We will never forget and their stories will forever be remembered.

God Bless Everyone.

i still can't really deal with this- i don't know anyone who can. i was just a kid, at college my freshman year. i will never ever forget a second of that day.

I remember that I was at home and turned on the news and watched it unfold. It was a horrible day.
I went to give blood and there was a line outside with people waiting to do the same thing. I think I waited for 3 hours.
A lot of blue collar workers and others that worked hard for their money was there to give their blood so others might survive.

I remember that day very well. Hubs was working very near the Pentagon. I couldn't get a hold of him. No cell service. A few hours later he finally rolled in the door of the bank I was working at. I have never been so happy to see him not even on our wedding day.

I hope everyone remembers how great it felt to come together as a nation. All the petty political bickering stopped and everyone focused on the things that are so important…like God and family!
