Bob Evans Original Mashed Potatoes Review

We love mashed potatoes around here! Thing is? During the busy holiday season, there’s sometimes not enough time to make them on time for dinner. Take the last two weeks, things have been so rushed my dinner meals were planned on nothing else but quick cooking times, which is where and how Bob Evans Original Mashed Potatoes came in handy this past week.

Due to some last minute trips, and play dates running a tad too long at the park I had less than forty minutes to get dinner on the table for my hungry crew. I took the Bob Evans Original Mashed Potatoes, a pound of beef, some mixed vegetables and put together a meal in less than thirty minutes with time to spare.
I tweaked the Recipe on the Bob Evans website, the Shepard’s Pie Skillet . Leaving the cheese out and cooking it in the oven instead of on the skillet it gave me some extra time to clean up the kids, help with homework and set the table.
It came out perfect, I grew up on Shepard’s Pie and it’s one of my all time favorites! Simply, quick, and best of all, easy on your budget.
I criss- cross the potatoes on top with a fork like my Mom always had when I grew up 🙂

The potatoes were creamy, something I would not have expected. made with real milk and butter, you can really taste it. These were great, and my kids just loved them enough I barely got myself a serving before they ate it all. Not a single ounce left! That’s a perfect winning combo in my book.

Look for the Bob Evan’s Original Mashed Potatoes in your local grocery store along with the other farm fresh products. . If you have a minute browse through the Recipes as well. If you happen to be lucky enough to be near a Bob Evan’s Carry Out, you can order online!
