Take the Next Step #NoKidHungry

If you have already pledged to fight childhood hunger a huge thanks! If not,you can take the pledge right now using this button!

You can also make a donation, an no gift is too small. When you make your first gift to support the No Kid Hungry campaign, you will join thousands of other supporters dedicated to the cause. Here are just a few things we’ve accomplished together in the last year:

  • Launched an aggressive campaign to reach children during the vulnerable summer months when free school meals are not available. In fact, in six of our No Kid Hungry campaign states, we increased the number of meals served by nearly 1 million compared to the year before!
  • Dramatically increased the number of children receiving a healthy breakfast by providing grants and supporting school breakfast challenges. As a result, 128 schools in six No Kid Hungry campaign states started alternative breakfast programs and ensured that thousands of children at risk of hunger started the day ready to learn.
  • Provided nearly $7 million in grants to more than 400 community organizations nationwide working to ensure that kids receive nutritious meals on a regular basis.
  • Taught nearly 18,000 families how to get more food for their money and cook healthy meals through Cooking Matters.

While we have many successes to celebrate, we have much more work to do to bring an end to childhood hunger. That’s why we need your help today. Missing meals on a regular basis bears long-lasting and harmful effects on a child. It can stunt their physical growth, compromise their immune system, and distract them from school work and other activities.

Imagine the difference you can make in a child’s life when you join Share Our Strength and help connect children facing hunger to healthy meals where they live, learn and play!
Here’s a video you can share or watch in your spare time.

Rmember every $1 equals 10 meals for a hungry kid.
