Prepare to be Amazed! Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey

This past week we packed the family up and hit the road to head over to get a glimpse of the much anticipated Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s “Built to Amaze” show.

We got a private painting party with Mable the elephant who later on during pre-show comes out for everyone to paint again,  It was a lot of fun , we also got to learn about some neat facts including one very surprising tidbit about their favorite treat- A whole loaf of bread! Mable even tried to sneak off with a loaf when the trainers looked away- ha!

Built to Amaze features Andre McClain as Ringmaster, the legendary King Charles Unicycle Troupe, and the award winning comedic due Alex and Irina Emelin of Russia who were able to talk with me during their very busy scheduling! Alex had come into this business while he watched his Uncle a circus clown perform and simply fell in love, while Irina is a 2nd generation circus performer and had her own monkey act when she was a young girl. Once they got a taste of performing they never turned back and circus life is never boring according to Alex.

All together they have 16 black and white poodles who are all named after famous actors which they practice with daily to get them ready for their amazing act. Traveling with their two daughters 14, and 4 they try to get out and spend some time with either other whether it be at the beach or site seeing. Along with site seeing they enjoy dinner together which is very important to them. It is their time to be a family and simply enjoy each other.
During Build a Maze Alex and Irina are up to hilarious mischief throughout the entire show keeping the audience on their toes and engaged throughout the night. They did an amazing job captivating us all with their custom build comedian performances.

The show is designed with more than  110 of the world’s best performers representing 17 countries along with 95 exotic and domestic animals , creating never-before-seen heart pounding performances.
Along with the custom built comedic due Alex and Irina, there is Eliana Grace, the Human Cannon Ball which the kids were blown away with and let’s not forget the beautiful and majestic tigers led by trainer Tabayara Maluenda.

There are the Tower Tumblers a group of aerial athletes that scale a translucent tower and proceed to repel and flip down to the trampolines. There is so much to see and something for everyone in Build a Maze, so what are you waiting for? Check out to see if they are coming to a city near you, Tickets start at $15 through Ticketmaster

The show is a must see, pack the family up and enjoy a full night of non stop fun filled entertainment brought to you by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey!
