Crock-Pot Recipe Challenge Day 31: Granola

I want to make this again but with some extra ingredients. I think it would make a great granola trail mix, perhaps after it cools mix in dried fruit or maybe even some small chocolate pieces. Something to make it sweet, it was good not just for breakfast!

 5 cups oats
 1/4 cup honey
 1/4 cup melted butter
 1 T flax seeds
 1/4 cup slivered almonds
 1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
 1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut

Melt the butter in the microwave then add in the honey stirring well.  Place all the dry ingredients into the slow cooker. Add the honey mixture into the cooker and mix up making sure everything is coated well.  Cover and cook for about 4 hours on high. Stir at least twice every hour. When it’s done dump out onto some parchment paper to let it cool. You can leave it in clumps or break it up more to your liking. Seal in an air tight container or in a ziplock.
