Book #4 The Remingtons, Love in Bloom Series #13
Olympic gold medalist skiers Jayla Stone and Rush Remington have been best friends for years. They’ve seen each other at their best and worst and have kept each other’s secrets without fail. Only there’s one secret Rush has kept close to his chest. After months of introspection, Rush realizes he’s been filling his bed but not tending to his heart. He’s changed his womanizing ways, and the only woman who can fill his heart has been right by his side all this time.
Years of intimate conversations and the sharing of hopes and dreams collide when Rush reveals his secret, and one toe-curling kiss changes everything between Rush and Jayla. They’re no match for the passion that kiss ignites, or the pull of true love. But being Rush’s best friend means knowing all about his revolving bedroom door—and Jayla has a secret of her own that could jeopardize her career and her relationship with Rush. Even their love may not be enough to overcome Rush’s past or secure Jayla’s future.
This is the book of the ultimate friends crossing that boundary so many question and so little act on in fear of losing each other in the move. Melissa Foster has once again brought reality onto the page in a beautiful way with Slope of Love.
We meet Jayla Stone and Rush Remington in Slope of Love ( o m g the Remmingtons!) These two have been friends for as long as they can remember, knowing each and every detail about each other but never have they crossed that line between- until now.
Jayla has loved Rush for many years, nearly from the start without Rush even knowing it but what’s standing in their way of being together? Well the fact that she has a boyfriend is one thing, but even after Jayla sends the boyfriend packing there’s the secret she has kept to herself and could change everything including her career. On top of that Rush has his own secret he needs to reveal.
As close as two best friends can be, can they find it in their hearts to open up and share each other’s secrets? Or will they hold back and not try to over come the bumps along their journey?
I loved how these two were so close, a wonderful story brought to life through the pages. Foster always is able to make it seem so real and life like. There is no denying the chemistry between these two, no way to miss the fire sparking up page after page. You will have to read the book to find out what happens with Jayla and Rush, it’s fun, it’s sexy it’s a must read!
