Easy Guacamole

Guacamole is super easy to make there’s no reason to not just make it yourself. While I posted a recipe once before, I found a super easy one that has become the “base” before I start tweaking it. Whether adding, tomatoes, or peppers, maybe jalapenos this is the best starter recipe.  Once you make it, taste test and add things from there.

I added jalapenos to this batch, nice and spicy!

4 ripe avocados
Juice of 1 lemon or lime
2 finely minced garlic cloves
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Remove skins, and place avocados in a large mixing bowl, along with all other ingredients.
Mash all ingredients together until you reach your desired consistency. Great additions, 1/4 cup minced onions, 1/4 cup chopped peppers, 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes or your choice amount of chopped jalapenos , add what you want and enjoy. I like using this as a sandwich spread too, makes great chicken guacamole sandwich wraps!

How do you like your Guacamole?

Perfect recipe! I love making guacamole! Years ago when I was a professional cook, I used to make it almost every day! And, that's really when I started liking it so much – my recipe was similar!
