Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup Almond butter
  2. 1/2 cup honey
  3. 3/4 cup oats
  4. 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  5. 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Heat the Almond butter and honey in a small steel frying pan until mixed and creamy, keep stirring while it heats to avoid burning. Once it's creamed and easy to stir remove from heat and add in the oats and protein powder. If the powder isn't mixing well use about a teaspoon of water at a time until you can get it mixed in. no more than a full tablespoon used all together or the bars will not hold together. Once the mixture is completely
Notes
  1. * Nuts are optional but make a great added crunch and taste! Just layer them on top, either whole or chopped while the chocolate is still warm
  2. * You can use Hazelnut butter, or peanut butter in place of Almond.
  3. The protein mix I used was a Sprouted Brown Rice in the flavor of chocolate by NOW Foods, you may use another flavor you have on hand.
  4. * protein scoops differ, I found the average to be 25-30 grams
