It’s Not Just About You

It’s no secret that each and every one of us wants to be wanted, appreciated and loved. We feel amazing when someone encourages us, is proud, stands besides us and roots us on, infact ~  We thrive in it!

So why not give it to others?

While we are all trying to better ourselves, we often forget about others. We’re so wrapped up in ourselves that we forget others are struggling just as much as we are, or have. Doesn’t matter if you’re in the worst of times or best of times, it’s never a bad time to give someone else a boost when we see they need it. Build them up, strengthen them, encourage them, give them the reason to never give up or lose hope.

Give them a reason to still hold onto their dreams, and not to be afraid to face the unknown, encourage them to be bold and courageous.

You can be someones brightest moment in their darkest times. We are all called to be the light in someone else’s world of darkness.

Step out! Reach out!  Offer some light onto another just as you wish someone would for you, as you aren’t here on earth for yourself, but for each other.

A little encouragement can go a long way. Yes we should definitely support and encourage each other more.

Very nice that you take the time to encourage us with this post. If everyone would understand how important it is to support each other all will be easier.

Drives me crazy how much lack of support there is for each other in the world. I love how you wrote about it

How I wish this was the way of the world. As cliche as it may be, there really is truth to the saying, “No man is an island.” Co-existence is the only way to survive. Spread kindness and understanding!

This is a great message. We should definitely do this more often. A little encouragement and support can go a long way.

So much truth to this. I feel like people are afraid that if they give something away, it’s taking away from what they have. When, in fact, when we give, we often receive ourselves. <3

This is so encouraging. I enjoyed reading the quotes and thinking about how I will make an impact this year.

Yes, it sure would be nice if more people supported each other without motives. It’d be great to see people building each other up instead of tearing each other down.
