Time to Knock the Walls Down

Whether you know it or not, you have sometime in your life built a few walls. For whatever reason you did, we’ve all done it, and you know what? It’s not a good thing. We become so comfortable within the walls, anything beyond them seems foreign and overwhelming ~  It’s the Unknown.

Unknowns can be scary, the questions unanswered beyond the walls can leave you reeling! It’s no wonder we build our walls up. We know what to expect in the walls, we know what can happen in the walls, we aren’t surprised or let down and certainly not left trying to figure out a new situation! I mean come on that can be so stressful! So we build our walls. Our perfect comfort zone to settle in right before us. Never have to worry about what’s going on past those walls. You start making decisions quick because it’s beyond your zone, a whole lot of no’s start taking up your vocabulary and day to day life. Slowly, those walls feel confining, constricting and you start to wonder what actaully is beyond that wall you built. Perhaps a new career, a new opportunity, new experience, a new friend, a change you’ve waited for, for a long time! As the excitement builds, you start to really question those walls and start to step towards crossing that mark. Why is it that you built them anyways? Oh yes, the unknowns are scary!

But still, you wonder what life may be like on that other side…Beyond the Walls. Beyond the Constriction, beyond Limits You Set. Those so called “comfort zones” you built up around yourself have prevented any further growth in Yourself, in Your Own Life. You wonder why you haven’t gone further in life? Look where you’re standing. Look at what you have done, has there been any new movement? Tried anything new? If the answer is no, you live in your comfort zone. The only person in the world that can limit you , is You. While the unknown can be scary and let’s face it, we all have those moments where we hesitate and question, even fear taking a leap – but if you don’t ever take that leap? You will never know what is on the other side. We are not meant to stay in one place, you have two feet after all, use them to move forwards.  Have a little faith in yourself. Believe in your infinite potential and move outside your comfort zone. Face the world with the willingness to experience.  Don’t live to stay in one place and live in regret always wondering what kinds of things could be like past that wall!

Live to Experience. Live without Limits, for You Are ~ Limitless~

We can definitely be our own worst enemy sometimes. I let down a wall with some people last night that went up years ago. It was nice to have a new beginning.

Love this. Something I really need to do, knock some walls down… I have a bunch up and they are restricting and its my own fault, must work on!

I think this also comes with age. Over time, you just realize all the insecurities, all the overthinking, just not worth it. We gotta go out there and live!

I love that last image. I have it drawn in one of my journals as a reminder.

This really speaks to me right now. I am so bad about staying in my comfort zone. Love all the quotes!

This is a great post. I know I tend to stay in my comfort zone and I don’t try new things that often. It is something that I need to work on.

Sometimes we are our own worst enemy and our own toughest critic. Sometimes it is very difficult to move out of a comfort zone, but necessary.
