The arduous task of sifting through storage units that seem to contain items before the turn of the century seems daunting, until some papers unveil receipts from a Brothel. If you were down on your luck and had just a few pennies left in your pocket, what would you do for money? I ask this question to myself on a daily basis. What is my lowest acceptable per hour rate? When you have a college degree and you are sucking at life, these are real life situations that REAL people are faced with. This book was very real to me and very humbling. I cannot imagine sifting through someone else’s crap looking for valuable items without Air Conditioning in the heat of summer and trying to just stumble upon something that is gonna take me from zero to hero. What if you and a friend were to do this and after some alcohol and some access to emails, a blackmail situation arises and well a situation goes from what if to what is? How would you handle a fake to reality situation? This book takes us through something based on uh oh to what is and then from fake it to make it. So much happens in this book between two people that would never have met if these documents did not exist in a storage unit. I loved most of this book, there were some lows that took it to OMG, NOOO, but overall this book was great and I really enjoyed it while sunning myself poolside. I look forward to whatever Summer has coming up in her next novel!
