Apple Crisp
Jump to recipe
Who doesn’t love some nice apple crisp? This recipe is so simple and what I most love about it, is it’s pretty much throw together. Nothing fancy about it, and yet it comes out so delicious it seems like you spent hours to get the taste just right! While I do not like eating it with ice cream, my family does so to spruce up this recipe I made some Homemade Vanilla Ice cream which you can find over here.
I hope you all enjoy this one! Happy Fall!

Ingredients
- 6-8 meduim peeled and chopped apples ( sometimes I leave the peel and it's great!)
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 3/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 half lemon squeezed (small lemon)
- Topping
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup old fashion oats ( you can use quick)
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cold butter cubed
Instructions
- Preheat Oven 350F
- Grease 8x8 baking dish and set aside. Mix together the apples , sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice, pour into the dish. In another bowl combine all the topping ingredients together and mix together. You can use your hands to get the butter to mix up until it resembles pea-sized crumbs. Spread this tipping over your apple mixture and baking for about 45-50 minutes. It should be bubbly and golden brown. Serve with fresh whipped cream or ice cream! Enjoy!
