My Review

Years ago Fiona Steele ripped apart Jake Braden, the only women who has ever managed to hurt this tough and rough alpha male. She knew she’d made a mistake and spent years afterwards regretting what she’d done which is why she’s back . Fiona has a successful career, everything she ever wants, everything but Jake. When he refuses to even give her a lick of his time to hear her out she doesn’t back down, she’s willing to lay it all out on the line. Her career, her heart, all for a chance of love again with the one man she never should have walked away from. But after so many turn down’s and the cold shoulder, could she really keep trying when he so clearly doesn’t want her back? Fiona is willing to keep at it, refusing to let go of the chance that may still be there.

 Jake on the other hand has something else in mind. He’s spent years trying to get over Fiona, made his way through a sea of women willing to take up his time and company- he has no problem saying no to Fiona.  There was no way he would put his heart on the line again and while all he wants is what the rest of his siblings have, he won’t even give Fiona a chance. He’s watched everyone around him fall in love and he’s ached for it for too long.  He’d had his chance, and his chance walked away taking his heart with him. Trying to bury everything he felt for Fiona wasn’t so easy, and if she thought he’d up and accept her back into his life- she has another thing coming.

Can Jake see how Fiona has changed over the years and come to terms with what happened between them? Or will he push her so far away from him and throw his chance at real love out the window ? You’ll have to pick up Crashing into Love to find out.

I enjoyed this story along with all the Foster books in Love in Bloom, wonderful addition to the series.  I don’t usually like books when the character’s had a previous relationship they don’t always read well but Foster never disappoints me. She kept it flowing and real, I think many people can identify with her stories. It was nice to see how far each character’s had grown, how they came back together and had to really deal with how they felt.
