Gratitude Work
These aren’t easy times for any of us. Who ever you are, wherever you are, and how ever this pandemic has hit you- we are all dealing with it. Each and everyone of us here on earth is dealing with this in some way shape or form. It’s very easy to focus on the negative, to vent about it, to share it, even get annoyed with it. Negativity can be so easy to jump too, while our hearts and soul are just aching to be positive.
It’s during the hard times in which we need the most gratitude in our lives. To be grateful for all that we have, as some other people don’t have it. Maybe you have something they want, or they have something you want. However it may be, each and everyone of us needs to be grateful for what we actaully have, in this very moment of our lives! Nothing good happens when we focus on a bunch of emptiness, nothing good comes from focusing on negative. It makes us upset, stressed, depressed, even fearful. We also tend to only see negative things around us as that’s what our focus is on.
When we flip the focus to positives it actaully tips the scales for our entire mood. We change our mindset. One small smile we got, a hug, getting a parking spot right out front of a store. Whatever it may be, when you focus on it, something else positive happens, and then another. What we focus on, is what we see, and what happens.
Gratitude Matters.
Start your morning with gratitude and the rest of the day will follow. It’s simple yet most of us find it a little hard to start in on it. Anything and everything is worth your gratitude! Did you wake up today? Be Grateful. Were you able to take a shower? Brush your teeth? Wash your hands? Be Grateful for those things!
The food on the table, or in your fridge, bottled water or that special tea you enjoy so much. Are you able to buy coffee and enjoy it’s delicious aroma? Be Grateful for those things!
The more gratitude you show and feel the more positive the day is because YOU are Positive!
It can be that one small thing in the day that makes you grateful, no matter how small as long as you can find it, be grateful for it. That gratitude will grow the more you focus on it , and before long you will be seeing more and more things to be so grateful for! Your day will be filled with so much positivity it will catch on to others. So share a smile, share some gratitude!
