Green Ginger Peach Smoothie
We all need a great pick me up mid-day and instead of reaching for something sweet why not bust out the blender and have a healthy smoothie instead? They are really easy to make and you can mix up flavors to get the right taste for you. Using fruit and vegetables you have your daily doze of servings packed all in a tasty smoothie. Skip a bottled stuff at the store and make yourself a real super healthy drink for yourself- you deserve it!
2 handfuls of baby spinach , freshly washed and dried
2 cups frozen peaches sliced
2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 1/4 cups water
Blend it all in a blender. Using the frozen peaches makes it nice and cold but if you have fresh peaches, you can use one cup water and a small handful of crush ice to add in there while blending. Serve immediately and store in refrigerator if there’s any left over. Use within a day.
Enjoy!

I would love to try this, hopefully fresh ginger is better tasting than some of the other forms I have tried. My doctor wants me to use Ginger for stomach issues and I have a hard time with the taste – shakes usually work for that though.

I have to admit the fact it's green put me off a little – might have to close my eyes as I try lol x

You made me miss my usual smoothie combos! I haven't had one since Typhoon Haiyan, more so since we don't have our blender anymore since it was never found after the storm.
