Hearts at Play Book Tour
Book #6 The Bradens, Love in Bloom Series #9
Brianna Heart has a six-year old daughter and a twelve-year plan to keep her life as simple as possible until Layla turns eighteen. That means swearing off relationships and the drama that goes along with them, working two jobs, and being the best damn mother she can be.
The last thing Capital Series Grand Prix racer Hugh Braden wants after dating media-hungry leggy models and money-hungry fan girls is a blind date. But how could he turn down a favor to one of his best friends? Hugh expected the date to go poorly, but he didn’t expect to be intensely attracted to the beautiful brown-eyed bartender who completely blows him off—and steals his every thought thereafter.
When Brianna’s perfectly orchestrated life turns upside down, Hugh is there to help, softening the turmoil, and maybe even rescuing her heart from the lonely place where it has been hiding. Can a man who doesn’t believe in fate and a woman who doesn’t believe in true love find happiness in each other’s arms forever? .
HEARTS AT PLAY is part of the Love in Bloom series.

My Review
Foster has once again pulled off a stunning story with Hearts at Play. We meet Brianna Heart and Hugh Braden in this charming tale.
Straight from the start we are pulled into Huge’s blind date which was a favor to a friend. Being chased by fan girls in his fast paced life as a racer Hugh is used to the spotlight and fans girls falling at his feet. His attention though on his date heads right for a woman who not only turns her back to him, but is unlike anyone he normally ends up with. Not able to forget her he takes his date home and comes back just to chat it up with the waitress- Brianna to find out what she’s about. Watch out Hugh, you’ve met your match!
Brianna a mother of a six year old daughter will do anything to keep her child safe, happy and protected including not even taking a chance on romance till her daughter turns 18! She wants no drama what so ever, so when she sees Hugh coming her way she sets up the brick wall. With something more than just her own heart to be broken Brianna will not let anything destroy her daughters heart. Problem is Brianna finds herself unable to really turn away from Hugh for long, and he is there around every corner proving he isn’t the ladies man he used to be. Can she open her heart for love in her life or will she close it off forever?
Hearts at Play was interesting to read, I liked how this one turned out. Two strongly driven people and both of them not even asking for the opportunity that landed in their laps, ( isn’t that how life is anyways?) Hugh can’t and won’t let either of the girls down, while Brianna can’t lie to herself with the connection they both made. Both faced with doubts and fears from either walking away or going forwards you are left wondering- Can they over come bumps along the road and find the happiness they both deserve? Or will they go their separate ways and go back to the way they lived before they had a taste of real love?
You’ll have to read and find out. The last book in this series was bittersweet. I will truly miss the Braden tales but am looking forward to the new series Foster is releasing. You won’t be disappointed in any of the Love in Bloom books, as with them all each book is stand alone- grab one, grab two, heck grab them all you know you want too!
