Amalie , a columnist for a magazine, attends a function at Palm Beach. While at the event she crosses paths with a graphic designer, Ian Gardner. Something about Ian strikes Amalie enough she can’t look away , let alone walk away from him. The more time they spend together the more they fall for each other, yet something is always pulling a distant memory of theirs, almost as if they had already known each other. 

Unable to at times tell the difference between past and present she is torn between what is real, and what could have been real. Through pain and turmoil they hold true to each other not able to walk away even through the most difficult times. Yet at the same time, both are torn and challenged as to what to think and feel, with their most challenging time coming up faster than they can expect. Amalie is plagued with visions at night and Ian is the center of them. 

As their relationship grows so do the demons of past and future they face. Though their devotion is strong yet danger is lurking and they are faced with something neither of them could have ever foreseen. 

Will their love for each other over come the past and take them into the future? Or will the demons catch up with them and take all of which they strive for? You’ll have to pick up a copy of Meet Me in The Garden to find out what happens!

This was  great book! Good mystery that I didn’t see coming, lots of twists that were surprising. The characters were well written and I liked how past lives could meld into the present.
