I’m sure you all have heard your share of pure CBD oil from one source or another and it’s many uses, but did you know that the natural antioxidants that occur within hemp are an essential part of anyone’s daily routine? It’s true! Hemp Oil can be an excellent source of omega fatty acids, antioxidants, along with some other essential nutrients and vitamins that our bodies need.
I was recently given the chance to try out Receptra Active Hemp CBD Oil, which comes in 3 different sizes to choose from. There is also a Receptra Prime Hemp CBD Oil by the company and two topical products. I got two small samples of the topical products , body butter and targeted topical, so there is something for nearly everyone.
Receptra Naturals is a family owned and operated company in Colorado, striving in growing 100% organic grown hemp. They cultivate all the hemp used throughout the production of their oils and even topical based products. Receptra Natruals Hemp CBD oil is well balanced with omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. The oils are rich in naturally occurring antioxidants that can help improve blood flow through the body.
The Active lifestyle products are targeted for optimal mental and physical performance. The blend is of course all natural and helps recover to keep you energized and focused throughout the day. As a busy mom and a yogi I picked to review the Active product. The Active Hemp oil, contains 15mg of CBD per serving. It doesn’t get you high, it’s not anything like that, it just gives you the best benefits of the hemp plant itself. While I haven’t used it that much ( a week at best) I have used it before yoga for optimal recovery from the workout, and to enjoy a more focused mediation session after my cool down from workout. It’s easy to use, a simple drop under the tongue which you allow to sit for anywhere from 15 seconds up to 30 before swallowing.
At first I had just put it in water ( unsure of the taste) but the taste was not bad, it has a slight berry taste. I haven’t noticed much of a change during my yoga session but my mediation session has been much more focused that I noticed with use. I think I will use it simply for my meditation sessions as I have noticed the most benefits through that, though I am not taking the full dropper amount probably a fourth of that even. So possibly with some more use before and even after my sessions I will be able to notice much more than I already have now.
I look forward to using the body butter and the targeted topical for any soreness for muscles when I have them. Both smell like flowers ( while the oil has the berry scent due to flavor) and both are very creamy. Since it’s hot here in northern CA it’s been recommended to chill in the fridge before use. They both absorbed into the skin very nicely and I bet for a post workout the creams would be a perfect addition to the daily workout routine to ward off any aches and issues.
While we all push ourselves to our limits it’s best to ward off the chances of the actual fatigue and even muscle soreness. Since my broken hip I have been very careful in what I do with my body and what I put into my body so anything that helps me is an added bonus in my day to day life. Any added edge you can get to perform at the top of your ability and is not just healthy for you but organic is a plus in my book. Products of use within my home are always carefully researched and thought out before usage , so it was nice to find out that the antioxidants that are within hemp can help improve your bodies ability to remove some toxins that can otherwise lower your health.
Receptra Naturals prides itself in it’s organic family based grown hemp. If you are looking to use or even research Pure CBD oils, I highly recommend Receptra Naturals as the place to start.

Sounds interesting and maybe with my slowly aging (lol) body, this might be something that would be of use. I have been increasing my workouts, adding walking to my kayak rides, so muscles might just complain a bit so this might be something that would be a benefit to me. Will have to check out the creams, will think about the oil dropper!
