Sweet Treat Friday – Halloween Peanut Butter Chocolates
These peanut butter bars are awesome! I posted about them a couple months back, I’ll share the recipe again in a minute.
Sometimes I don’t always want the crumble bottom to it though. In fact I make little chocolate candies just out of the peanut butter and chocolate mixture for the fun of it. That’s this weeks sweet treat 🙂
Halloween Peanut Butter Chocolates!
Ingredients
about 2/3 cups peanut butter
1 1/2 cup chocolate chip morsels
Candy molds of choice I did some ghosts, and different sized pumpkins.
Directions
In medium heavy duty saucepan melt peanut butter and the chocolate morsels over the lowest possible heat. Stirring constantly , until it’s smooth. Takes 5-10 minutes .Do not walk away from it though, you don’t want the chocolate to burn. Pour the mixture once it’s smooth and melted into the candy molds and set in the fridge. Once completely firm pop out of molds and store in air tight container in fridge. These are not meant to stay out of the fridge, just like the peanut butter bars, they will sweat and will go soft, but they sure are yummy!
Enjoy!!! 🙂 Happy Weekend as well!

A combination of chocolate and peanut butter must taste good. They look delicious! A good weekend to you also.

Chocolate and peanut butter make the yummiest combination!
The other day we got a bag of small candy bars to reward the kids for working so hard on cleaning….I was lucky enough to get most of the Reese's bars for myself!
