I received a signed copy of this book at a wedding that I worked. The Bride and Groom work for Penguin Publishing and were giving out books as favors and encouraged me to take some. I managed to come across this gem! I am so blessed to have received this book. All of the opinions are mine and mine alone.
Emily Giffin is an amazing writer. This book had me in love when the main character was in love, hurt, faced with impossible choices. All I can say is wow! As I sat in a long car ride reading this book my husband kept asking if I was OK, because I was wrought with emotions from this book and I felt like I was the main character in this book. This book deals with so much; love, loss, heartbreak, miscarriage, death, abuse and loving the wrong person. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book and never knew what was going to happen next, despite the overindulgence of football.

Shea Rigsby had a rough childhood, growing up in a football rich life in Texas with an interesting family dynamic. Her childhood shapes her relationships further in life.
She tends to just go with the flow and not pursue her dreams, until she meets someone special who pushes her out of her comfort zone and she ends up down a very different path. We are taken down a very interesting and unexpected path with Shea’s love life. After reading this book, I am left with a bookover. Until the next book….
