This starts out in a precarious situation with a woman with onset dementia and calling the police regarding her 10 year old missing granddaughter, Laurel. She had told the police that she was late coming home from school. Laurel walks into the house, as an adult with the police at her house. It is shortly before Christmas and the realization that grandma cannot stay home alone lies heavily on her shoulders, along with the debt from failed IVF. After speaking to the agency and being told there is a huge wait list, Laurel consults with her husband about what to do. He too has no idea what to do, so they decide to just hang tight until after the holidays. Shortly after this conversation, Mrs. Miracle appears at their door and has a solution to everything.

Boy, could I sure use her in my life. Mrs. Miracle, I have a few stops for you to make..my house first, please! Did I mention my cousin with four kids who could also use a little Mrs. Miracle love and magic? PLEASE come my way!! Anyway, the book unfolds with Mrs. Miracle working her undeniable magic and interference, in a good way, in people’s lives. A wish that Laurel never thought would come true is manifested. Mrs. Miracle is quite the Godsend! She is someone that I want in my household and wish that she would come and clean up my house, organize my life and fix what is broken.

This is what Mrs. Miracle does and this book does not disappoint! I love everything Debbie writes and was so happy that I was able to review this one. I want to just hug Mrs Miracle after this book! If you are looking for a nice, heartfelt book, you will find it here and it ends with a smile, but it leaves you longing for Debbie to write yet another book and wonder why you torture yourself when you know another Christmas book is not coming out until next year. In the meantime, I will sit here and long for said book.

Thanks Debbie for warming my heart on a not so cold fall day!
