Childrens Claritin

Oh how the allergy season just won’t go away. We live in an area where it’s pretty bad this time of year. The school is against a creek no less as well , we live between tons of trees parks and it’s always windy. Mornings and evenings are the worst when everything is just being kicked up. Kids find it hard to stay outside, we miss the sunshine and they get house bound due to the itchy eyes and sniffles. That’s no fun at all!

 I’m used to kicking  colds or illnesses  without medicine, but allergies are something you just can’t seem to get away from. Claritin has been in the house for years, the kids enjoy the chewables the most. It lasts, works fast and doesn’t make the kids drowsy or cranky. When I was young, I  know taking things for allergies made me dead tired, so I’ve always been weary of medicine when giving it to my kids. Claritin though, has proved itself to stay true to it’s non drowsy effect. Both the Chewables and the Syrup are a staple in the medicine cabinet come spring time.  

 The best thing besides cutting my kids allergies in half? Children’s Claritin Grape Flavor Syrup is clear and dye free. No stains if they spit the stuff out (habit with any meds with kids really)  For me that’s a huge plus, the kids could care less about how it looks, but they say it tastes good, making it a big win for both sides.
