My Review

In the original Treat & Max book, we are swept along a passionate romance between the two. While they had plenty of ups- their relationship almost nearly stopped dead in the water. Through heart ache and facing their own demons Treat and Max took a second chance with each other, and came out stronger because of it.

Lovers At Heart is a second installment if you will of Treat and Max, slightly different than the first. We are treated with more of a in depth back story of how Treat and Max’s passion first ignited at Nassau. We are taken along with them as they are faced with some personal challenges, ones they seem to have realized they can’t just face alone, but together. Their chemistry is still strong and hard to miss with the turning of each page. Neither want to turn away from each other, yet both are facing some demons that they must over come before either can really have a future together.

It was great to see how both Treat and Max understood that they had to deal with things in the past in order to move forwards in this book, it was a great addition to their story and how well they fit together. They really compliment each other in many ways, challenge each other and deeply care for one another.

If you enjoy a great heart warming story, this is for you!
