Sweet Treat Friday – Caramel Apple Upside-Down Cake- Marzetti Dip Review and Giveaway! *CLOSED*
Caramel Apple Upside Down Cake. Yes! I’m not sure if there is a recipe out there, haven’t come across one, so this is my own change to the classic Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Since the basic recipe uses brown sugar, I just changed that for the Marzetti Dip, and added apples. Ta- Da
Then I carefully poured the melted butter and caramel in the cake pan before setting the apples in the pan as well. Just arrange as you would the pineapple slices. Pour the cake batter over the apples and cook for the same amount of time, about 30 minutes till a toothpick comes out clean in the center.
**Disclosure- I received the products mentioned above from Marzetti , in order to write an honest review. No monetary compensation was received for this post. I did not have to write an positive review, Any and all opinions are and will always be my own.*

Extra entry: my favorite way to use caramel is to drizzle it on top, or if it's a cake to poke holes in the cake and pour the caramel in the holes.

Blessed Elements/Create
I have actually spread this type of caramel topping over an apple pie and then added the top crust and it was great.
