My Review –
Do people ever get over their childhood crushes? Riley Banks knows for her at least, the crush is still as strong as ever when she lands a job with Josh Braden, the boy she still holds a heated torch for.
A chance of a lifetime to work in Manhattan as a fashion design assistant is a dream come true for Riley, but it comes with a price. The price of a racing heartbeat, flushes cheeks and wanting to wrap herself around the very man she’s working with, kinda of price. Riley isn’t too upset about it though, as the more she works with Josh, the more she falls for him. She loves everything about Josh, his charms, his kindness and his importance of family. While he fits in the big city world, Riley still sees the small town boy she’d first fallen in love with all those years back somewhere behind the business man. The question is, does Josh still see past the big city drama? Or will he be blind to what was before him the entire time? Riley knows where her heart is, but she isn’t too sure Josh does when he breaks her trust.
Josh Braden knows the in’s and out’s of the fashion world, and it’s a world he loves to be in. When he sees Riley’s designs he knows she’s got something and offers her a job and hopes she’ll learn everything he can teach her.
